Good thing they shipped it FedEx SmartPost

And not regular FedEx. FedEx doesn’t deliver to secure apartment buildings. SmartPost gets delivered by USPS, hopefully it doesn’t require a signature.

When is my Canon FD to micro 4/3 adapter going to ship? It’ll suck if I get the lens first, then I’ll have to wait for the adapter to come.

Good thing I silenced my phone

Some debt collector calling the wrong number left a message around 6 am. My name isn’t Adams. They sure have a lot of numbers, blocking their numbers doesn’t do much good, they just get a new number.

You could block all numbers not on your contacts, but if you tell it to pickup and hangup, you might miss an important call, and they won’t be able to leave a message.

Flickr has a auto uploader program

They give you 1 TB for free, more then I get from Google for two bucks a month. Are the pictures marked as private when uploading with that? Or can everyone see everything you upload?

Maybe I’ll try it if I ever get broadband.

CenturyLink blows

They don’t offer broadband at my location. Just 3 mbps for 30 bucks a month, with a 12 month contract. You might be able to upload and still use the internet at the same time with CenturyLink though. It’s probably 50 bucks after 12 months, that’s a rip off for 3 mbps.

Broadband is expensive

It’ll cost you around 60 bucks a month. I don’t have broadband, just a shitty 6 mbps connection for 50 bucks a month. 25 mbps from Comcast costs more then I was paying for 105 mbps. Says you have to have TV or voice to get the plan I have. I have no TV service or voice.

I qualify for the three month trial on Amazon Cloud Drive?

Sweet, I can get it for free for another three months. Will I qualify again in three months? Only problem is it doesn’t have my new pictures on it. I have a very slow/shitty connection, can’t use internet while uploading.

The start free trial button doesn’t work, after I click continue. Looks like I couldn’t even pay for it if I wanted to.

You don’t need an alarm clock

I should disable my alarm clock, and just let Tonka wake me up everyday. She let me take a three hour nap though. She’d probably let me sleep until 11 am or later. By then it’ll be to hot to take her on a twenty minute walk.

How do I train her to wake me up at 9 am?

That’s how you spend around 40 bucks

Bought a manual lens, the Pentax version has good reviews. Had to buy an adapter too. Suppose they could of been using the Canon version with an adapter or something.

How much is 28-105mm on a micro 4/3 camera? I know it’s more. Probably won’t be able to replace 30mm lens with it.

They sent me a message asking if I saw their Vivitar 70-210mm. No I didn’t. Not sure I need 210mm zoom. And it starts at 70mm, which is more on a micro 4/3 camera.

Don’t think I’ll respond. Maybe buy the other one on the 1st. Or not, won’t get the 28-105mm until Friday. It’s shipping to my apartment, so good luck stealing it.

Probably shouldn’t get a manual lens with anymore zoom, it’ll take me to long to make it in focus. So I’ll be getting a picture of nothing.

Need to save my money

Depending on how anxious I am at my first private driving lesson, I might end up getting my license. Unless I’m still to anxious. We only paid for one lesson to start with. Might not be anxious if the other person in the car isn’t. Or I will be, but not as much. Driving isn’t new to me, I did it a long time ago.

How good or bad are pictures with a twenty or so dollar lens? It’s an old lens. Cheaper then buying the Panasonic super zoom.

Probably would only use the Panasonic camera once, and then it would collect dust.

Kind of want a compact camera with a lot of zoom. Easier to carry, you won’t get 60x optical zoom though. I have an Olympus. Might be fine for outside pictures when it’s light out. Haven’t tried it.

My compact Olympus camera is 10x zoom. Third party upstart battery was dead, but the battery it came with has a charge.

My cellphone takes better indoor pictures then my 80 dollar Olympus camera. Probably the same outside, but I can zoom in on the Olympus. That 20 dollar lens would probably be better, but bigger and won’t fit in my pocket.

Take a bunch of pictures of my hairy F.U.P.A and sell the camera on eBay. Might be able to get twenty bucks for it, they’ll be thrilled when they click the preview button on the camera. The eBay fees are to high, wouldn’t pay for the lens + adapter.

Don’t need to use 80 dollar Olympus, my 30mm lens is almost the max of my 80 dollar Olympus’s zoom.

M.Zuiko ED 40-150mm f4.0-5.6 R I’d buy that lens, if I could get it for 100 bucks. New or used, doesn’t matter. I can get a Vivitar 28-105mm for around 30 bucks. Need an adapter, still under a hundred bucks. Better aperture on the Vivitar too.

Tonka woke me up

Took a three hour nap. She went on my bed and was looking at me, and licking me. I thought she was a different dog until I was fully awake. Should of set my alarm for an hour. Probably won’t be sleeping tonight.
