Don’t plug anything else into the surge protector. You might overload it and start a fire. Unfortunately I can’t plug one of my external drives into my UPS, the last plug is blocked from a power brick, and the external drive has a power brick too. So I might burn my apartment down. There’s a light on the surge protector that says if it’s overloaded, it isn’t on.
One thing plugged into it might not matter. Can’t plug UPS directly into the wall, as the surge protection on it is useless.
Looks like I need a new UPS with more plugs.
I’m not using 600 watts of power on my UPS, so I don’t think one thing plugged into the surge protector is going to start a fire.
