How unreliable are Toshiba hard drives?

Newegg has a 10 TB one for $350, there’s a coupon to get $10 off, is $350 the normal price?

Might be a bad idea to only buy one.

Somebody bought one, used for about two hours a day in a desktop, and it died after 3 months. Good luck using it 24/7, without it dying quickly. Oh and no replacement drive, just a gift card for whatever you paid, so if you got it on sale, that’s all you get back, so you can’t buy another drive. That’s why they put em on sale, so suckers buy em, they die, they refund your money in two weeks.

Wouldn’t it be easier to just not sell the drive to begin with? Doesn’t make a lot of sense to sell em for cheap, and then refund em.
