She gets mad if you repeat yourself

People don’t know if you heard them, if you don’t acknowledge that they said something. And she says “give me a break”.

You could try responding when people speak to you, then they will know you heard them.

How is the AP using bandwidth?

The router is supposed to be blocking everything that isn’t my phone’s IP. Better enable SSH, and run ping on it, to see if that works.

Nope, ping doesn’t work.

The traffic thing in EdgeOS might be counting local data, it went up for the AP. Or it counts blocked connections.

Lots of updates for the VPS. I’ll be rebooting for good measures afterwards. That’s easier then looking at all the updates, and then restarting or reloading every service.

Cloudflare’s DNS sucks and

You get to wait for domains to be looked up, it says “looking up domain”. Shouldn’t be that big of a delay in looking up a domain.

Changed it to OpenDNS.

It’s not an issue accessing those IPs, I pinged them or one of them, and it was around 30ms. Didn’t do a traceroute. The internet is annoying when it says “looking up domain” for longer then a second.

Might only be an issue on my desktop. Phone still has and for the DNS, and it works without “looking up domain”. Unless I only accessed cached stuff. If that’s the case, iOS’s cache is better then Manjaro’s.

Now I know why T-Mobile doesn’t stay on Wi-Fi calling

Band Steering. It isn’t switching to the 2.4 GHz, then possibly to the 5 GHz, doesn’t just stay on one.

I just turned it off, preferring 5 GHz didn’t do much, disconnected phone, reconnected, and it was still on 2.4 GHz.

Is it illegal to sniff the wireless airwaves? My AP doesn’t say the MAC address of who’s trying to connect. They most likely changed their MAC address, so it’s bogus. If the MAC address looks legit, then they might of tapped the wrong AP. I should change the SSID to “password_changes_every_five_seconds”. I’m sure I could figure out how to do that, if I wanted to. Wouldn’t be any WiFi on my phone. Just turn it off. So if they crack any of the passwords, it’ll be changed in five seconds.

And it’s still on Wi-Fi calling, think it’s connected to 2.4 GHz though, according to the AP’s controller, which is my computer.

Can it even connect to the 5 GHz if they have the same SSID and no band steering? To lazy to change anything. I might disable the 2.4 GHz though, that travels farther, so if the WiFi cracker isn’t in the building, they might not be able to even see it. Even if they are in the building, they might not see it, depending on what floor they are on.

Isn’t AM4 only supported until 2020?

That could be longer then Intel CPUs work on the same socket. But still doesn’t seem long enough.

Doesn’t really matter, I don’t plan on upgrading after the 3rd gen. Not using Windows, so I can keep using an ancient computer, till it dies. Probably won’t be playing any games if I don’t ever upgrade. Video card won’t even get 30 FPS on low settings.

Maybe by then, ARM will be better competing with AMD and Intel. Then I can have a tiny computer.

They were making fun of Guardians Of The Galaxy in Family Guy

Herbert’s dog planted a piece of him, after he exploded, and he grew back as a small tree. He was dancing at the end.

The commercial detecting in Channels detected it as a commercial. I rewind after I skipped the “commercial”. Some of it was a commercial, but the ending it flagged as a commercial too. It uses comskip, the settings can probably be changed, if you understand anything.

Recordings are fine now, after moving the antenna.

There’s a big dump

Was solid and possibly runny too. Felt like the runs near the end.

Maybe I won’t have to shit again tonight.

Broken Honest Abe beard

How long does it take to grow a beard? The thickest is on my chin.

I probably shaved to much on one side, probably not enough on the other side.

Don’t know how to trim anything, I’m not a hair expert. So it’ll be a broken scruffy Honest Abe beard.

I wasn’t born knowing how to trim. Apparently school doesn’t teach you that. I barely know how to shave, school didn’t teach me that either. If you are supposed to figure out some stuff by yourself, good luck, I won’t figure out anything new in the future.

Steam Link is available for the Raspberry Pi 3

I have an actual Steam Link though. I was going to sell it, but then remembered it probably isn’t worth much. They were selling them for really cheap.

Maybe it’s worth money now, I won’t sell the controller though. They stopped making the Steam Link.

I’d rather have Steam Link on the Nintendo Switch, it’s already hooked up to the TV. But I doubt Valve will release it for the Switch, even though there’s homebrew on it. Nintendo would get mad if they released a Steam Link homebrew app for it.

It’s for the 3 and 3 B+.

You can find it here.

Ha, somebody asked if they plan to open source it, or port it to the Nintendo Switch. The Switch is most likely no, because Nintendo might sue em or something. The open source of it is probably a no too.

Get one of the 3″ screens for the Pi, and see what games look like on a really low resolution screen. If I don’t want to stream it over the internet, I won’t need Parsec.

Will it be running at the low resolution on my computer too? If so, that might get rid of the stuttering in Fallout 76.

If you want GPIO on the Raspberry Pi Zero, you have to solder a header on

Might not be hard to solder the header on. The problem is, my table is to short. Need a taller table, but that costs money.

There’s a UK site that sells the Raspberry Pi Zero with the header pre soldered, but they are sold out, and that would be slow shipping, I don’t live in the UK.
