CSF says I’m blocked, but I’m not, I can still access the server. I’m in the allow file. Guess it adds it shows in csf -t even if you aren’t really blocked.

Well, there is an accept above it. Maybe that’s why I’m not blocked.

The firewall works, I just got myself blocked. Use xdotool to type the password into the console on BuyVM. Instructions here. I like typing long random passwords wrong.

Why did it put my IP in the allow file when installing? If somebody spoofs my IP, the firewall will be useless. I put it in the ignore file instead. Allow lets it access everything on the server, that includes port that are closed to others.
