There is another way, solder the ground and the 5v to the pins.
What power supply has a ground and a 5v wire? I don't want to cut off the barrel jack, and guess which one is 5v and ground.

Go to advanced settings, and you can change the max resolution. I changed it to my monitor's, which is less then the TV.
That could be the problem with detail, it's not running at it's native resolution, so it's probably upscaling it.
Buy a 4k monitor, then I might be able to stream at 4k. Or get a 4k HDMI extender over IP, open steam on the TV, and then use the Apple TV to stream it. Will there be input lag?
Is there a fake display that you can open Steam in? So it can have 4k?
Don't use the warm color temperature. Probably only good if the lights are off.
Looks like it hasn't been, since I switched to OpenLiteSpeed. Do I have to compile the ModSecurity module, or does whatever DirectAdmin install have it?
It has it, run "ls /usr/local/lsws/modules", and if you are lucky, you will see it.
The instructions on the OpenLiteSpeed Wiki, don't work, and neither does adding "include /usr/local/lsws/conf/httpd-modsecurity-enable.conf" to the httpd_config.conf file or "httpd-includes.conf". The log files don't exist.

It's not even attempting to enable it. "systemctl status litespeed" says nothing, maybe if I enter bogus stuff in the "httpd-modsecurity.conf" file it'll fail to start. Nothing, it's ignoring the file.

How do I get that file? The extra folder doesn't exist.
There's "/usr/local/directadmin/custombuild/configure/openlitespeed/conf/httpd-modsecurity.conf", and that's the same as "/usr/local/lsws/conf/httpd-modsecurity.conf".
So I guess just make the extra folder, and copy or ls to the other file.
No errors with "/usr/local/directadmin/custombuild/build modsecurity", but still no ModSecurity.

Will recording it with a camera at 60 FPS show input lag? I have two slow motion settings, 720p at 240 FPS, and 1080p at 120 FPS, on my phone.
I know what I can record at 240 FPS, that's a topic for a different blog though.
My camera can record 1080p 60p, no need to buy a tripod mount for my phone, and no need for the YI 360 camera. I just looked up the specs on my camera.

But that's normal for the AC to be shit, just ask the maintenance guy. Resetting to 80, and taking forever to get down to 70F, is just how ACs work.

Want to take two videos, one showing Saints Row: The Third on the Apple TV using Steam Link, and the other the HDMI extender over IP. Can't hold my phone while I'm playing a game. And I'm to lazy to look for something to hold it. I could record the ceiling, while I play games. It's easier to pay $200.
And then I can be naked while I play the game, it has two lens, one on each side. Can't upload that to YouTube though.

Not on the Simple Modern site. The only accessories are lids. But that's a good idea, switch to a chug lid, no straw needed. Might make a mess on my face, since I'll forget there's no straw.
They do have straws on their site, just search for straws. Six dollars for four straws. It'd be cheaper to cut the one I found, that is to long. It's not as fat either, but it didn't fall out. Just couldn't close the lid with it.

I put the straw in some soapy water. Cup isn't tall enough though, I'll have to flip the straw. Might be to late for that to work. Unless I leave it in the water for 12 hours.
Don't buy the chug, it'll leak, even if the reviews say it doesn't. Sometimes when shaking mine, it leaks, that's with the straw lid.
You might get mold too. I probably would, I only rinse my straw lid out now. There could be mold in it, that I can't see. That's healthy.
There was something on the lid, might be drink mix. Or mold. Should get a bottle cleaning brush, using a sponge blows. The only way to clean the bottle is with soapy water, without a brush.
But not exactly like my monitor. Probably would have to change the advanced settings, but seeing as I don't know what those settings are, I wouldn't know which one to change.
And Steam compresses it, there's lost detail on the TV. My HDMI extender over IP obviously compresses the video too, it's only 100 Mbps. How much bandwidth does 720p HDMI use? Probably more then 100 Mbps.
The only point in any HDMI extender, is if you are plugging something that isn't a computer into it.
I had to change the color to warm, and increase the color setting, and decrease the brightness and backlight.
Increasing color probably isn't "realistic", but that's how my monitor looks.
Oh yeah, and game mode, decreases the image quality. Funny, earlier I didn't even have that turned on, on the Apple TV input.
That's the easiest way to make your TV look better, make it almost match a BenQ monitor. Every BenQ monitor I've seen looks good. Even my cheap under $100 refurbished one. This one is only 24" I think, and it probably cost more then my shitty 27" Dell. A bigger monitor won't necessarily look better. If I paid $400 for the 27" monitor, it might look as good.

It might be limited to 1080p, changed the game to 1440p, but I don't think it changed on the TV. Maybe my TV doesn't do that resolution.
So, the network is fine, and that's with powerline adapters. It said only 35 MB/s, the software in Windows, says it's over 1000 Mbps for the powerline adapters. Either the Apple TV has shitty ethernet, or the switch over there is shit. The HDMI extender over IP, is only 100 Mbps, so if it's slowing it down, wouldn't it only slow other stuff down by 10 MB/s or so?
Only one person uses my network, so I doubt anything else is slowing it down. I only use one thing at a time. Computer isn't downloading anything.
Guess those extenders are only good for video. I should sell it, or send it back to Amazon if I can. But I'm lazy, so I'll just use it with Kodi. Useless for 4k movies, the max resolution is 1080p. and if you use 1080p, it has delay, probably encoding it to 30 FPS.

The Steam Controller works, didn’t play a game yet. Trying to figure out why xscreensaver won’t shutoff the monitor, if I wake it up, and exit the login prompt. Google is useless. Just bump the keyboard tray, and the monitor will be blank forever, not off. Chromium is most likely keeping it awake, just like somebody said on Google.
That would explain why the monitor is off when I wake up and Chromium isn’t running. Oh wait, maybe not, as I closed Chromium earlier, and when I got back, the monitor wasn’t off. Does Steam keep the monitor on?
It’s Steam, closed Chromium but not Steam, monitor wouldn’t turn off, closed Steam, and monitor turned off. Now I have to close Steam when not in use. That’s a bummer. The easiest way if it’s on my TV, is by running killall -9 steam. That’s better then turning the TV on.
