Motile M141

Only has one RAM slot, so I only upgraded to 8 GB. For some reason, I thought it had 2 slots. I was going to remove the motherboard, to see if there was another slot on the other side. Decided it wasn’t worth the effort. YouTube video replaced the stick with one 16 GB stick, which leads me to believe there’s probably only one slot.

I stripped one screw, got it out with a flathead screwdriver. I also bought laptop screws on Amazon.

One of the screws worked.

I can’t link to Amazon, they told me to remove all links, when they terminated my affiliate account.

Should have taken those pictures with a different lens, 45mm makes it a pain in the ass.

I use the Linux Clear kernel from the AUR with two patches for WiFi. You can find the one I compiled here.

Using the linux-amd-raven kernel now.

I could send the RAM back, but I’m lazy, so I’ll just have 8 GB, and a spare stick.

Laptop sold, didn’t use it.
