Fedora Silverblue or Kinoite Setup Hibernation

Follow the instructions here.

But probably won’t work yet, after rebooting again, try to hibernate again, and run the following commands:

sudo audit2allow -b
sudo audit2allow -b -M systemd_sleep
sudo semodule -i systemd_sleep.pp

And I have no grubby in Fedora Kinoite, so I used rpm-ostree kargs –append=xxxx.

I also disabled TPM or whatever on my laptop, not sure I needed to.

I finally found the right log file, that said something about sleep and permission denied.

Turning it off and back on is faster though.

Might have bought the wrong laptop, amd_pstate doesn’t work, and may never work on it. The battery life would probably still suck anyways, the battery is from 2021, it was “refurbished”. At least the screen appears to be fine.

I’m using the cachyOS kernel, so it’s fast anyways. Probably doesn’t help battery life. Without amd_pstate.
