Only 8 GB of RAM. That’s fine for Linux. But I don’t bother using my Mac mini M1 cause it only has 8 GB of RAM. Want to use some proprietary software? Well, it’s going to do a lot of swapping. Video editing, photo editing.
Probably could edit a photo with 8 GB of RAM in Linux though. Maybe do some small video editing too. I don’t know what I’m doing with photo or video editing, but the Mac mini doesn’t help me.

That’s my old desktop. Never needed more then 32 GB of RAM. Still doing just fine. $600, should get at least 32 GB of RAM.
