Didn’t know Walmart bought Vizio in 2024. Well, that might explain why there’s no 65" Vizio TVs on Costco’s site.
I probably won’t buy a new TV, the only problem with my TV is no VRR, not sure it’s worth paying $378 for a new Vizio just to get VRR. And since Walmart owns Vizio now, it really isn’t worth paying anything for a new Vizio.
To get a TV that is actually better, besides just VRR support, I’d have to pay $600+ if I want a bigger one, they don’t make 58" ones that are better.
So I think I’ll pass. Once it dies, I’ll just get a cheap Hisense probably. The good news is, I’ll probably die or something before the TV, so no worries.
And I doubt they will get cheaper in two years, with World War 3 happening. Probably won’t be any TVs to buy then. If there are, they will be expensive as fuck.
Not to mention, in a police state, there won’t be anything worth watching. Unless you get stuff by bypassing the censorship, which will be illegal, and may result in a beheading. The reason my TV will probably live longer then me. Nothing like getting murdered by fascists. Not to mention, a war will be happening, so murdered by a nuke is a possibility too.
