I’m able to put it on the other monitor again. Maybe the next KDE update, will break it again.
Made a window rule to force Guild Wars 2, to the other monitor, had to use the position setting I think. The screen setting is useless. Or maybe I had two rules in two different places.
The TCL TV, I think the model is Q77 or something, may or may not be very good. Guess it gets bright enough for a bright sunny room. One review claims it’s washed out if you do that. Will it be cheaper next month? Should probably get the 65" one, so people don’t say my old TV is bigger, like it matters. The TCL has VRR, my current TV doesn’t.
I won’t use the Google TV crap, I have an Apple TV for that. Will probably plug Ethernet into it, to get updates. But I won’t sign into Google on it. They claim it’s fake HDR, unless you get OLED, well, in that case, I’ll never have “real” HDR. Not even mini LED huh? The 65" is currently $430, but sale might end on the 29th of this month. Bummer, if it doesn’t go back on sale next month. Or not. I won’t buy a new Apple TV either, if it dies, I’ll use my Atari VCS, which has more then Atari’s OS on it, some other Linux distro I have on an external SSD. Just use a web browser and/or Kodi.
Apple’s Tim Cook donated to Trump, and I’ll never forget while alive. That also means, no new iPhone for me. If it dies, I have no idea what I’ll replace it with. Maybe nothing. Get a landline. Or a VoIP line.
And the that TV might be like the Q6, which I think I looked up on rtings, and gets horrible scores, probably worse then my ancient Vizio. See Reddit, guess you can’t watch hockey on it.
I’ll pass on that TV, sounds like junk for $430. Somebody recommends the “QM751G” or better. That model ain’t sold anymore, in the US. How about the QM6K? It’s mini LED, but I’d probably only be willing to get the 55" one, based on price.
Screw TCL, get the 55" Panasonic for $500. Or 65" for $600. Would take another month of not spending all my money. Unless, I want to be broke.
Looks at the Panasonic on rtings.com. Not sure I can afford anything better then that, it’s too good for me. Can I get a cheaper Panasonic that’s worse? Only 7.2 in gaming, but probably about the same as my Vizio in gaming, but everything else probably smokes it. The Hisense U8N is better, but how much is it? LOL, almost 1k for 65", too good for me then. What about the Hisense U7N? Nope, costs more then Panasonic, so no thanks, even $100 more is too much.
I found the TCL they recommend, but it’s out of stock. And the 65" costs more then Panasonic. Funny, if it’s a real Panasonic, not a bought their brand name, then the name brand is cheaper. I’d pay for Panasonic’s brand, because lots of people hate em. It’s premium compared to Vizio. Or maybe it’s because I want a Panasonic micro 4/3 camera.
Sucks, can’t pay monthly for the 65" Panasonic on crappyu Amazon, but can for the 55" one, it would be $99.60 a month. But I think five months, and Social Security might be gone in five months. Or I might kick the bucket. Eh, let go, and it ain’t my problem.
What about Panasonic W70? $50 cheaper, and I don’t care about mini-LED. No review on rtings. I’d risk it, name brand, Panasonic is great, screw Samsung. No Dolby Vision? Lame, my cheap Vizio has that I think. But it’s “Fake” according to somebody on Costco.
No VRR on that model, so kind of pointless to buy, unless I just want Panasonic and/or bigger. Bummer. Buydig.com sells the Panasonic W95A, so no need to use Amazon. Seeing if they have it refurbished, or something else refurbished.
Keep the TV, and buy a camera instead. My camera is probably more ancient then my TV. Camera would cost more. Buy some booze instead, and get addicted. At least, that’s what I told myself to do in my dream.
