Multitasking

Trying to listen to a talk show on radio and do something else, doesn’t work right now for me. Then I just hear annoying sounds in the background.

Well, finally realized, I don’t have to keep turning receiver up and down. Make it loud enough for radio, then use software to make the volume less for my music. The MPD client has volume control. And volume control in KDE too. The Atari VCS sound card shows up just like a local sound card. All I need is Pipewire to do that.

Want to get distracted? Get a cat, bond with cat, leave for 16 days, then go back. Distracted from my mind, sure is nice.

Pink Floyd not loud enough.

Well, I could make a script to change volume when it switches to Pink Floyd.

Putting openSUSE Tumbleweed on laptop. If it freezes too, then the laptop hardware is bad, or it hates Linux. And I’ll be getting rid of laptop in that case. Don’t want Windows.

Woke up tired. Think my body just likes waking up at 8 AM as well. Got a sunrise sleep thing coming, possibly the cheapest one. It’s the iHome one, the cheapest one, that’s on sale for $25. Think it said it helps fall a sleep, and wake up. Better then $180 or whatever the Philips one costs. There’s a Hatch one, and to use all features, I’d have to subscribe. Have to subscribe to something to sleep better? No thanks.

Comfortably Numb, sang that in funny farm, while doing Karaoke.

Speaking of multitasking… Oh wait, that goes on a different domain.
