Subwoofer works finally

It’s a Dayton Audio CS800 8" 150W Powered Subwoofer Wood, not the cheapest or most expensive subwoofer.

Got it working with Apple TV first, plugged Apple TV directly into receiver. Then I disabled ARC on receiver, and changed the input source volume to 12 DB. Turning the volume up, could have made it work too. Apple TV isn’t very loud apparently.

And nothing needs to be done in Linux, to get subwoofer working. That was a lot of time wasted.

The volume of it isn’t too much. Even if turned all the way up. Probably depends what I’m listening to. And lots of settings can be changed. Don’t want it super loud anyways.

The WordPress theme I bought for the dog’s website, requires the Unyson+ plugin, or I can’t even view a post. I could modify the theme even more, so it doesn’t. Not really worth what I paid, for that reason. It’s static right now, online. Using a ton of WordPress plugins, not a good idea. Apparently a bunch of WordPress plugin developers don’t consider security.

Unyson+ isn’t on WordPress.org, it’s the new fork that’s supposed to be better.

Hmm, think I’ll just modify the theme some more. That’s why it’s a rip off, they don’t update the theme.

Should have read the page before buying it, not just looking at it. A regular HTML theme, would have probably been cheaper.

For single.php, just remove “? fw_ext_sidebars_get_current_position() : ‘full’”.

Now I get to lookup WordPress docs. Cause the header is broken, without that plugin, and I want my header back.

Oh it does look the same now, if I inspect the page, it changes the header image.

Breadcrumbs, and then the theme will mostly work. I’ll use a plugin for that, cause I’m lazy.

And the theme is mostly done. Lots of code I could probably remove though. But I didn’t buy the theme, to do a ton of work.

Had to change the level on subwoofer to match speakers, 7 DB. Wasn’t doing anything again. Then I had to turn the volume down to halfway, cause some songs are louder. Best to keep it halfway probably, and then adjust volume on receiver.

And then turn volume down too much. Might have to change the volume to less then halfway on subwoofer.

I like to leave receiver @ 25 volume, and adjust with software.

Turned it from auto to on, cause auto just turns off apparently. So it’s a timer? Not what I want. Go look at subwoofer, light is red, and touch it, and no noise.
