SanDick

Found a “cheap” WD Green SN3000 1 TB refurbished on eBay. Well, the TBW is only 150. My smaller Crucial has a 300TBW. Not sure when I bought it, but written around 60 TB.

Don’t think using that as a boot drive, would be a good idea. According to power on hours, 224 days.

It was sold directly by SanDick.

I tried canceling it, and they claimed they shipped it already. No shipping email, eBay doesn’t say shipped either.

Around $130 after tax. Well, $30 or so more, and probably could have gotten a better drive.

Kate is better then MarkText. Try using two dollar signs, on the same line. Not worth my time, fucking with it.

Well, I just got a tracking number. They created the label after I tried to cancel it. If I send it back, I’ll need to make a video. I’ll just slap a label on it, without opening it. They might say it got damaged, and my fault, even though they packaged it.

To return it, I’d have to pay for shipping. Somebody said they ordered from them and it required a signature. If they send it back, will I get a full refund? Just don’t sign, or decline the delivery.

I won’t pay return shipping though.

They also, don’t give a warranty direct. It’s some third party. Seems like they are just trying to get rid of “refurbished” junk.

Well, don’t think I’ll buy anything from WesternDick/SanDick again.

Update
They got their drive back, and I got my money back. Guess I didn’t have to pay to return it, or did they take it out of the refund?
