Use PackMan with Slowroll, and you might be waiting a month to update.
Problem: 1: the to be installed Mesa-libGL1-32bit-26.1.6-1699.3.pm.1.x86_64 requires ’libgallium-26.1.6.so’, but this requirement cannot be provided not installable providers: Mesa-dri-32bit-26.1.6-1.1.x86_64[openSUSE:repo-oss] Mesa-dri-26.1.6-1.1.i586[openSUSE:update-slowroll] Mesa-dri-32bit-26.1.6-1.1.x86_64[openSUSE:update-slowroll]
Maybe not many people use Slowroll, or use it with PackMan. So no security updates or anything, until PackMan is updated. That might happen next month.
Want video acceleration without using Flatpak? Don’t use openSUSE then. Would be faster to switch my desktop to Arch Linux at this point. Did I ever try Debian on my desktop? Maybe it’s ancient enough that Debian would work on it.
Or use openSUSE, but put everything in a container of some kind, Flatpak, distrobox… That will need a reinstall though. Too much junk installed. Also, had to wait until the next month to update before now too, with Slowroll. Tumbleweed got the everything recompiled for some Python package, before Slowroll.
And if I update and keep old Mesa, I may have issues. People have tried that on Reddit.
