I had to downgrade libcupsfilters to 2.1.1-4. Found a bug report about it here. I have a Brother HL-2140 printer. Using the brlaser driver, but the foomatic probably works too.
I was using Brother HL-2140 Foomatic/hl1250 in openSUSE Slowroll.
Well, the best part of Arch Linux, is newer packages, and your printer might not work anymore.
