That may be a good sign to cancel this Crate from Namecrane

Can’t access it from a VPN, two different VPN servers, neither work now. So I’m not allowed to upload to my own site from a VPN? Really? Why? My internet may crap out if I don’t use a VPN.

I’m not emailing support. But I may cancel the VPN and the Crate from Namecrane.

Guess you need a VPS or dedicated server if using a VPN. This site is on Namecrane too.

You can login and unblock yourself, but shouldn’t have to do that. And also unblocks other people on the VPN.

Either way, that was a waste of $15. Do they have a refund policy? I already know their support doesn’t even look into shit.

Internet might only crap out if I download from the news service without a VPN. Would be funny, if they blocked my non VPN IP for uploading to my own site. Then it will really get canceled. Or just cancel now, and put in the comment “You block my VPN.”.

Turn VPN off, and it’s accessible again. So it’s Namecrane, blocking my VPN.

Now to let my internet possibly crap out, and/or get my IP banned from Namecrane.

Any provider selling a Crate like service for $15 per month, that won’t block my VPN? I’m not going to constantly unblock the IP, so if they are that strict on their paranoia, then they get nothing from me.

No need to pay for this VPN either, since it just gets blocked constantly. Apparently Tailscale’s Mullvad VPN sucks ass. Regular Mullvad could be fine, just don’t buy it from Tailscale.

Probably isn’t a comparable host at that price point, you get what you pay for, blocked. LOL. Too lazy to look as well.

Blacklisted for CAPTCHA_DOS_ALERT after 101 captcha requests

Now let’s see why the other IP was blocked.

Blacklisted for CAPTCHA_DOS_ALERT after 101 captcha requests

Same reason, apparently. Their DDoS protection blows ass.

I could unblock it, but how did I trigger 101 captchas myself? I guess rclone did that. LOL, they should test their DDoS protection before making it block non DDoS attacks. Maybe somebody is following me on VPNs, and attacking my site. More likely to be a false positive, because of rclone. They don’t show the logs.

Either way, I don’t think VPNx other people use are for me. I need a private VPN, and I’m too lazy to make one. Find for downloading from a news site, only problem is, it’s off now. Guess I need a Docker image, that has a proxy + tailscale exit node in it. Or better, cancel it, and just use regular Mullvad, which I already have a Docker image that works with that.

Now if Nextcloud data can be uploaded via SFTP, that might not trigger their paranoid DDoS protection.

occ files scan

Might do the trick. Upload via SFTP, then run that command. Problem could be solved, or at least will upload way faster.

And the correct command is ./occ files:scan –all. Maybe.
