Even the flash works, in P mode. I did reset it. Not very good inside though, noise at 800 ISO. Zoom is basically the same as my other lens with the teleconverter. 600mm equivalent. Don’t know what my other lens is equivalent.
Finally got one sharp photo at the max zoom. Need to click the AF/AE lock button. Hard to hold it steady half pressing the shutter button.
There’s a school bus on the other side of the river. I can read the license plate in one photo. Sharp enough for me.
If you zoom in past 100%, you’ll regret it though.
Well, now I know how I might be able to not use a tripod with my other camera. The tripod I bought is too short. Have to bend down, to use it in the sun. This sun hat, might result in less sweating on my head as well. Didn’t walk as far though.
Guess I need a zoom lens that does 300mm now, and use that with teleconverter.
Not sure I’ll try the teleconverter with this Panasonic camera. Might make it even harder to get a sharp image without a tripod.
S mode might be the best mode to use, cause it over exposes. Or maybe that’s just haze. That can be removed in RawTherapee.
The sharp school bus photo, has no haze though. 100 ISO 1/400 sec.
What do I need more then 12MP for? I don’t print many if any photos.
